Acasa Suites in Zurich offered a pleasant stay with its clean and spacious rooms, though some aspects could be improved, such as the temperature control in the rooms. The kitchenette was a great convenience for my family, and the proximity to public transport made getting around very easy (especially with our Swiss Travel Pass). However, the lack of a fully enclosed shower led to a wet bathroom floor after showers, which was a bit of an annoyance.

Rooms
9.0
The Acasa suite I stayed in was modern, clean, and spacious, providing plenty of room for my family. The comfortable sofa bed was already set up for us upon arrival, which was a thoughtful touch. However, the shower setup could be better as it made the bathroom floor wet every time I took a shower.
Service
7.0
While the staff overall were very nice and helpful, my initial reception was not as warm as I had hoped. I had to ask for the welcome drink, and there was a slight issue with an extension of stay request, which left me feeling a bit unsatisfied with the service.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location is fantastic, situated just a five-minute walk from the tram/train stop, making it easy to access both the city center and the airport. I appreciated the quieter neighborhood, which also boasted a variety of shops and restaurants nearby.
Dining
7.0
I found the breakfast to be decent but somewhat simple, especially for the price. Still, it was good enough to start my day. The on-site dining options were convenient, and I noted that the restaurant was praised highly by other guests, which I plan to explore further next time.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel offered great amenities, including a well-equipped kitchenette in the suite, which made it easy to prepare meals. I also appreciated the laundry facilities available, which were free to use aside from purchasing washing pods. However, I would have liked some spa facilities to unwind after a long day out exploring Zurich.

My stay at Acasa Suites had its ups and downs. The rooms were modern and incredibly clean, which I really appreciated. However, the room was uncomfortably warm because the thermostat didn’t work as expected, making it tough to sleep at times. Plus, some interactions with the reception staff left me feeling less than welcomed. Overall, it was decent, but not a standout experience.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in was clean and had a cozy feel. I liked the modern touch, but it was way too warm since the thermostat was only controlling the fan speed, and I had to open the window to cool down.
Service
5.0
Service was hit or miss. While some staff were friendly and helpful, I encountered a couple of receptionists who weren’t exactly warm or welcoming. It made checking in a bit awkward.
Location
7.0
The location was pretty good—close to the Oerlikon train station, making it easy to get around Zurich and to the airport. It was a bit out of the city center, but the train rides weren’t long.
Dining
8.0
I enjoyed the breakfast options available, which were good value for what you pay. I went to the Coop Restaurant nearby for some meals that were decent as well.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were nice, including a gym and spa area, which helped me unwind after busy days. However, I did have some issues with water pressure in the bathroom.

My stay at Acasa Suites had its ups and downs. The location was convenient for accessing trams and trains, making it easy to explore Zurich. However, I faced some issues with staff behavior that put a damper on my experience. Overall, it was a clean and spacious room, but the service could definitely use some improvement.

Rooms
8.0
The room was clean and modern with a well-equipped kitchenette, which was handy for my needs. However, the shower situation left much to be desired as it caused the bathroom to flood.
Service
5.0
While some staff were friendly, I encountered a rude night manager who really made me feel uncomfortable. I reported my experience, but there wasn't much follow-up, which was disappointing.
Location
7.0
The hotel isn't directly in the city center, but it's just a short tram ride away, which is super convenient. It's a nice area with several restaurants and shops nearby.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast options were decent, though I feel they could have been more varied. The on-site dining seemed to meet basic needs, but nothing more than that.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel has some great facilities like laundry rooms and a kitchenette in the suite. Plus, having access to transport was a real plus, although I felt the cleanliness could be improved.

5.0/10

My stay at Acasa Suites in Zurich was a mix of highs and lows. While the location was great for easy access to public transport, the service left much to be desired. The cleanliness of my room was commendable, yet I encountered some frustrations that detracted from the comfort of my stay.

Rooms
8.0
The room I stayed in was clean and well-maintained, which was a positive aspect of my experience. However, I did find the lighting to be quite insufficient, making the space feel darker than I'd prefer.
Service
5.0
I was disappointed with the reception service. The staff often seemed unhelpful and lacked the training needed to provide good customer service, which was frustrating at times.
Location
9.0
The hotel is conveniently located close to the train station, making it ideal for getting around Zurich and to the airport. There were also plenty of restaurants nearby.
Dining
6.0
While the breakfast options were decent, I found the layout of the buffet impractical and cramped, given its proximity to the reception and elevator area. Lunch was lovely, though it felt a bit awkward at times.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel offered various modern amenities, including a kitchenette and smart TVs, which were nice touches for comfort. The wellness facilities, if you find time for them, did add a relaxing option.

5.6/10

My stay at Acasa Suites was quite mixed. While the location was convenient, especially close to the train station and Zurich Airport, the service experience left much to be desired. The hotel has its strong points like cleanliness and amenities, but a couple of issues with staff interactions and room features need addressing.

Rooms
6.0
The room was clean, but small and dark, especially the ground floor options I encountered. While I appreciated the modern amenities, the shower setup flooded the bathroom, which was concerning.
Service
5.0
Unfortunately, the reception staff were not very helpful. I felt as if I was being treated poorly, and having to request assistance was frustrating. Mr. Mahmoud was the exception, showing kindness when I checked out.
Location
8.0
The hotel's proximity to both public transport and nearby restaurants was ideal, making it easy to explore Zurich. It provided a quiet environment that's still close to city life.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast options were good and varied, serving up nice eggs made to order, which I enjoyed. However, the dining experience overall felt a bit repetitive during my stay.
Facilities
7.0
The spa facilities were a nice touch and offered a calm space to unwind, though I wished for better maintenance in the shower area. The hotel also boasts a good gym and free laundry facilities.
